Wonderful Business Stay at Drakensberg Sun Resort
The serene setting and beautifully maintained grounds offered the perfect atmosphere for our meetings. I particularly enjoyed the Spoilt Green Eco-Spa, which provided family-friendly treatments that helped to rejuvenate me after long working hours. The staff was attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met promptly and with a smile. The on-site dining was a highlight, with diverse options that catered to different tastes, making every meal a delight. the attention to detail and the welcoming environment made my business trip feel far more pleasant than I anticipated.
Unhygienic mats in executive rooms.

Premium room with a shower over a bath with 3 kids was the best.
Too small bathroom, and the breakfast was rather limited.

Exceptional service, I greatly enjoyed lovely food.
I had fabulous days staying at this affordable hotel. The place was fairly clean, I booked the twin/double room with mountain views, everything was awesome. The staff were absolutely amazing and helpful with requests. As for me, the location was great and perfect, right by wonderful hikes in the forests, and the central Drakensberg among stunning scenery against the backdrop of the majestic Champagne Castle.

the gardens were beautifully maintained, and we enjoyed the spacious chalet that felt like a cozy retreat. breakfast and dinner were included, which was a pleasant surprise, as the buffet offered plenty of delicious options. we also loved the boat cruise on the lake and appreciated the stunning views from our room.
All good 😊, but no free wi-fi and drinks were pricey.

review: The staff's warmth made a difference, especially at the bar where they offered great cocktails during poolside relaxation. The resort's combination of well-kept gardens and an array of family activities ensures nobody feels bored. Though the bathrooms could use some updating, overall, it's an enjoyable getaway. , rating: 8, date of stay: 2024-05-10}

We had the best time here! The food was incredible and always so fresh, and the hiking trails were simply stunning and peaceful. On the downside, the room wasn't as large as the photos suggested, but we'd still choose this place again.

While the dining selection is varied, the evening menu does trend towards repetition was great. The overall condition of the rooms is a concern. They show signs of needing updates, with issues like outdated air-conditioning units and a few maintenance oversights such as broken shower heads. Navigating the grounds can be a challenge on sloped paths, especially for anyone who may find mobility difficult. Plus, the absence of designated family relaxation areas away from the pool can feel limiting for those looking to unwind comfortably.

Excellent place with its free wi-fi, poolside snack bar, and children's play area. On my first stay, the staff helped return my forgotten belongings, and their friendly approach is always appreciated. I recommend trying the outdoor swimming pool for a refreshing break. I'm coming back for a city trip!
